The following professionals are the people you are likely to have contact with
in our rooms, in surgery or on the phone when you are a patient of Dr Florica.Dr Elizabeth Acton MB, BS (Hons), DRANZCOG
Assistant Surgeon
Dr Acton completed her MB BS with Honours at the University of NSW in 1978. This
was followed with three years at St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney; her final year
as Anaesthetic Registrar. Dr Acton then earned her Diploma in Obstetrics and
Gynaecology after training at King George V Hospital in 1982. Dr Acton has since
been in Family General Practice, initially in Mosman, then Lindfield and now
Wahroonga. Dr Acton has always had an interest in surgery and has assisted in
theatre at St Vincent's Hospital, Dalcross Hospital, The Mater Hospital and the
SAN Hospital.
Dr Jenny Clark MB, BS (UNSW)
Assistant Surgeon
Dr Clark earned her MB and BS from University of New South Wales in 1977.
From 1978-1982 she was an RMO and a rural GP in the New England district of NSW.
Dr Clark practiced at Best Road Medical Centre in Seven Hills until 2002. She
has also practiced in Carlingford and Castle Hill. Dr Clark is diversely
interested in health; as a medical educator she has made presentations on
Obesity and previously hosted 2UE's "Good Medicine" program
Dr Clark has worked as an assistant surgeon at Castle Hill Day Surgery, the SAN,
Westmead Private, Hills Private, and the Mater Hospitals.
Dr Marc McIntyre MB, BS, FANZCA
Anaesthetist
Dr McIntyre completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney, underwent
post-graduate training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney and specialist
training at Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney. He then completed three years of
fellowship at Hopital Robert Debre in Paris, France. His main interests are in
obstetric, bariatric and neuroanaesthesia, the prevention of awareness under
anaesthesia and total intravenous anaesthesia. He now practices at the Sydney
Adventist Hospital, Mater Sydney Hospital, North Shore Private Hospital and The
Hills Private Hospital.
Dr Matthew Lilley BMed FANZCA
Anaesthetist
Dr Lilley completed his medical degree in Newcastle and then specialized in
Anaesthesia while working at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney. He has
worked in England at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and more recently in the
United States at the University of Washington Medical
Centre where he anaesthetised patients having heart, lung, and liver
transplants. Currently Dr Lilley works at the Sydney Childrens Hospital and in
private practice at several hospitals in Sydney.
